I’ve missed you! After a long hiatus, I’m thrilled to reconnect and share my passion for travel, adventure, and exploration with you. Life has been a whirlwind, and I can’t wait to fill you in on what’s been happening and where you should be headed next.

Life in New York: The Architect's Perspective

For the past two years, I’ve been deeply immersed in the architectural world of New York City. This city never ceases to inspire with its blend of historic charm and cutting-edge design. The skyline is ever-evolving, and each project brings new challenges and rewards.

From early-morning site visits in Manhattan to late-night design sessions in Brooklyn, life here is dynamic and invigorating, and I'm happy that I get to participate in it as a professional architect.

Balancing my work as an architect between New York and Puerto Rico while traveling the world has been a rewarding, albeit challenging, experience.

Still, my passion for travel has not diminished in the slightest, which is why I'm eager to share more of my domestic and international trips and even fun moments here in New York City.

Personal Milestones

This past year has been filled with incredible milestones. In September, I got married in the heart of New York City, surrounded by loved ones. It was a crazy yet magical day that perfectly blended the urban charm of the city with a more low-key vibe of Prospect Park.

For our honeymoon, we embarked on an unforgettable journey to Antarctica—my seventh continent! The pristine landscapes and wildlife were breathtaking, and it was the perfect way to celebrate such a special occasion.

In between the wedding and honeymoon, we squeezed in a few other trips. Costa Rica’s lush rainforests and vibrant wildlife made for a fantastic adventure. And Argentina and Uruguay were great food destinations! Lots of meat!

My Upcoming Hiking Trip to Colorado

I’m excited to share that I’ll be heading to Colorado soon for an epic hiking adventure! Here are the highlights:

• Rocky Mountain National Park: Renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, I’ll be exploring trails that offer stunning views of alpine lakes, towering peaks, and diverse wildlife.
• The Flatirons: Located near Boulder, these iconic rock formations provide some of Colorado's best hiking and climbing experiences. I can’t wait to tackle the challenging trails and soak in the panoramic views.
• Garden of the Gods: This unique park in Colorado Springs features dramatic red rock formations. I’m looking forward to hiking among these geological wonders and capturing some incredible photos.

Summer Travel Recommendations

Summer is upon us, and it's the perfect time to explore new destinations. Here are a few handpicked recommendations for your next adventure:

1. Summer Festivals in Europe
   • Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Scotland (August 2-26): The world’s largest arts festival, showcasing thousands of performances across various genres. It’s a cultural feast you won’t want to miss.
   • La Tomatina, Spain (August 28): Join the world’s biggest food fight in Buñol, where thousands gather to throw tomatoes in a fun-filled, messy celebration.
2. Nature Escapes in the United States
   • Yosemite National Park, California: Summer is the ideal time to visit Yosemite. The waterfalls are at their peak, and the hiking trails offer stunning views of the valley.
   • The Adirondacks, New York: Just a few hours from NYC, the Adirondacks offer serene lakes, lush forests, and excellent hiking trails. Perfect for a weekend getaway. (It's the perfect excuse to escape the city!)
3. Exotic Beach Getaways
   • Bali, Indonesia: Known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant culture, and serene temples, Bali is a tropical paradise perfect for relaxation and adventure, and the weather is perfect during the summer!
   • Amalfi Coast, Italy: With its stunning coastline, charming villages, and delectable cuisine, the Amalfi Coast promises a picturesque and luxurious summer escape.
